David Manderson at the CCA

David Manderson, UWS Programme Leader in Creative Industries Practice who lectures in Creative Writing and Screenwriting, has been invited to appear at the CCA to talk about his forthcoming novel and other recent developments in Creative Writing in Education.

His talk will take place in the Scottish Writers’ Centre, established by poets David Kinloch and Maggie Graham on Thursday 7th April.

It will range across the different types of writing taught or experienced in universities, from screenwriting to novel writing to the writing of journalism and other forms of non-fiction, and even to academic writing (just another form of creativity, after all).

David has been invited by the Writers’ Centre as the result of the successful publication of his novel, Lost Bodies, which is due for release in 2012.

Other writers in the series include Tom Leonard, Linda Cracknell, Donal McLaughlin and Anita Govan.
