UWS Doctoral Researcher talks about 2010 Social Media Trends to Influence Higher Education

Doctoral Researcher Ana ADI was invited earlier this September to hold a webinar presenting this year’s social media trends and discussing their potential to influence higher education.

The webinar was organized and hosted by Colt Alton, founder of  Ednak, a thought networking utility for online educators and was part of a wider series of workshops dedicated to exploring online teaching successes, pitfalls and opportunities.

Ana’s talk concentrated on two main topics: social media literacies for humanities, social sciences, journalism and creative industries schools and social media in the classroom as a means of supporting lecturers reach their learning objectives while enhancing the students’ learning experience.
